… for Kentucky basketball!!!
Are you ready?!?! I know I am!!
The past 5 weeks I have been doing a 6 am boot camp class. At first it was awful – waking up that early. Thankfully I have had a friend going with me. That moment when I have to get up out of bed is awful but the feeling after I work out is great. In Little Rock I have been doing the River Market Bootcamp.
Some pics of “me” working out I stole from the bootcamp facebook page:
I originally bought the Groupon for this boot camp and then signed up for 5 more weeks. I highly recommend something like this - especially with a friend!
I don’t know how it happened – my account was hacked. I deleted the post. Please don’t click it.
(I know I know I know – it has been a while – I’ve been busy – I’m going to try to give more updates and more photos of D & I)
These lust lists can also apply as great Christmas presents for someone *cough*Rachael*cough*
2013 Towel Calendar – Avril Loreti
Sequin Mini Pouch – GiftShopBrooklyn
Bag- Embossed Python – GiGi New York
This was an odd month for me in the Foodie Pen Pal experience. I got in touch with the awesome lady who got my name but I NEVER heard from the lady I was going to send to. At the last minute I got paired up with another lady. It all worked out – Lindsay @ the Lean Green Bean was great about it all.
So onto what I received this month – I was paired up with Megan (I don’t believe she has a blog). Megan lives in OK.
Sweet letter Megan wrote me
Did you know Amish PB taste totally different than anything I’ve ever had…
This is so yummy!!! Loved this with some Teddy Grahams
David & I loved these “Cowgirl Cookies”
Cashew Crunch – David LOVED this and so did everyone at my work!
Thank you so much Megan!
(I don’t know if the lady I sent my food to will have it up on her blog or not – I will post a link if it is!)

My friend’s husband had to back out at the last minute and she invited me to go see Loverboy, Pat Benatar & Journey in concert. I would never pay to go see them in concert but for free heck yeah – I would regret not going. I was glad to see them in concert and it was a fun night. Thanks Christy!
What did I do this weekend? I had a great weekend of just hanging out.
Friday night I caught up on ALL my TV shows: Revenge, Parks & Rec, Greys, Private Practice and Partners. I then proceeded to watch some Dawson’s Creek via my iPad.
Super awkward photo of Pacey.
Saturday morning I woke up and told David we ARE going to the Food Truck Festival. It then proceeded to rain and be cold. We went anyway.
I love the idea of Food Trucksbut have never actually eaten from one. We ate at The Southern Gourmasian. It was awesome.
Shredded Pork on the left (What David ate)
Balinese Chicken on the right (What I ate)
Portions were TINY. I could have had 2 more of those mini buns.
Before we ate I had to check out the craft area – there was a lof of “junk” but I did manage to snag some really cute earrings.
Saturday night we hung out around the house – David watched some football. And I watched the movie Heathers. That was interesting movie – It is more of a cult movie. (Nana I don’t recommend this movie for you) (Rhinestones I do recommend this movie to you)
After that I read a book – well I finished the book on Sunday. If you are looking for some light fluff I recommend Firefly Beach
After football watching and some reading – David & I watched Super 8. I saw this in theater with my father and if you have not seen it I highly recommend it.
Think Goonies for today’s generation.
Sunday we slept in till around 10ish. We had 3 kickball games and cookout.
It was a blast – I spent 3-4 hours out playing kickball. Came back to the house read my book, watched Revenge and cleaned (a little.)
Overall it was a great weekend – I wish I had more weekend like this with David.
I love the time of the month when I get my Foodie Pen Pal package! This month I got food from the awesome Amy.
Cinnamon gummy bears covered in chocolate - these were so different – I passed them around at work for everyone to try.
David dived into the candy – he loved it! He has been on a taffy kick lately.
I got honey sticks once before from a Foodie penpal and I have to say they are one of my favorite things to receive. I love the portion control on them.
OH MY GOSH – I LOVED THESE BARS! They have 2 servings of fruit & veggies. I have already looked them up on Amazon and want to order some.
This cream honey was so good. I put some on toast and loved it.
I had this as a post work – pre class bar
Picture of my overall foodie gifts
Thank you Amy! I loved it all.
